Anchored & Armored In Yahuah
Anchored & Armored in Yahuah.
There was no better way to describe that season.
It was just after Ahlaluyah Forever, around the holiday season, and songs continued to pour out of me. I was surprised by how quickly they came after Sukkot. Looking back now, they seem close together, and you may wonder why so many albums were released in such a short span.
Trust me—it didn't feel that way while I was living it.
Each collection felt like years of growth compressed into months. Every season carried its own questions, its own stretching, and its own transformation. YAHUAH wasn't simply giving me songs. He was forming my life.
Then He placed a question before me that would change everything.
How do I walk?
Not how do I sing.
Not how do I study.
Not how do I debate.
How do I walk?
After learning more about His Name, His character, His set-apart people, and the posture of prayer, I realized something.
Knowledge alone was never the destination.
I needed to know how to live.
That question stayed with me everywhere I went. Between work, home, learning obedience, and the ordinary responsibilities of life, it continued to echo within me.
One day I picked up my phone and opened ChatGPT.
I explained what I wanted to study. I shared Scriptures. I shared the purpose burning in my heart.
Together, we began building what eventually became Teach Me How to Walk Like Yahusha Walked.
What I believed would be a simple personal study became something far greater than I ever expected.
I asked one question.
YAHUAH answered by changing my life.
The music poured out as the study unfolded. Song after song emerged because I was no longer asking for information. I was asking for transformation.
I had come too far to continue living the way I had before.
That question was not an ordinary question.
It was a wilderness question.
A formation question.
A question that quietly begins unraveling the life you once thought was enough.
Little did I know that asking, "How do I walk?" would change everything.
What began as a study for myself quickly became something shared. An old friend wanted to walk through it with me. My daughter wanted to join as well. Before long, what I thought would remain private no longer belonged only to me.
I began posting the study on TikTok.
I don't know how many people chose to walk through those thirty days alongside me. But every day, for thirty days—the time many say it takes to begin forming a habit—we opened the Scriptures, reflected, prayed, and practiced.
We learned to walk as Yahusha walked.
To choose obedience over convenience.
To exercise restraint.
To release people instead of controlling them.
To stand firm when truth required courage.
To become witnesses of the Father's love through the way we lived.
It was not an easy season.
While YAHUAH was rebuilding my heart, the job I once believed I loved was beginning to unravel around me. A person I believed had been placed in my life to help me was quietly working against me. The place where I had found comfort became the very place where YAHUAH began teaching me not to anchor my identity in people, positions, or success.
He was teaching me to be anchored in Him.
And when everything around me began to shake, He was teaching me how to remain armored in His truth.
Anchored & Armored is the testimony of that season. It is the sound of a life discovering that knowing YAHUAH is only the beginning. The greater question is whether we are willing to walk as He teaches us to walk.
