Why This Study Exists

Formation Begins With Seeing

Every believer is being formed.

The question is not whether we are being formed. The question is by whom and into what.

Scripture was not given merely to increase knowledge. It was given to reveal the character of Aluah and to form a people who increasingly reflect Him.

Throughout Scripture, YAHUAH is not simply communicating information. He is revealing who He is through His words, His works, His covenant, His justice, His compassion, His patience, and His faithfulness.

As we come to know Him, we begin to understand who He is forming us to become.

That is the invitation of this study.

The word tamim is often translated as complete, whole, blameless, or without blemish. While each captures part of its meaning, the larger Scriptural picture reveals something deeper.

Tamim is the lifelong work of becoming increasingly undivided before YAHUAH.

A heart no longer divided. A mind increasingly governed by truth. A life learning to trust Him fully. A walk that increasingly reflects His character.

This study is not about becoming flawless.

It is about becoming formed.

Character Revealed

Aluah is not merely giving information. He is revealing Himself so that His people may increasingly reflect His character.

Why We Begin With Aluah

See Him Before Examining Yourself

Every lesson throughout this study begins with one question:

What does this reveal about Aluah?

Before Scripture teaches us how to live, it first reveals who He is.

He is faithful. He is patient. He is truthful. He restores. He keeps covenant. He governs with wisdom. He is unwavering. He is life.

YAHUAH never asks His people to become what He Himself is not.

His character becomes the pattern for ours.

When we learn to see Him first, Scripture begins to read differently.

Instead of asking, “What rule am I supposed to follow?” we begin asking, “What is Aluah revealing about Himself?”

As His character becomes clearer, the life He is forming within His people becomes clearer as well.

Character Revealed

The clearer we see Aluah, the clearer we understand what He is producing within His people.

  • That His character becomes increasingly beautiful to you.
  • That your trust becomes undivided.
  • That your obedience becomes increasingly joyful.
  • That your walk becomes increasingly governed.
  • That your life increasingly reflects the One who is forming it.
