Authority Foretold
Day 4 — The Coming One Carries Authority
The Ta’anak does not leave the coming One undefined. He comes with reign, rule, and authority already established by Yahuah.
The Coming One Is Not Random
Yahuah does not reveal Yahusha without first establishing the pattern.
The Ta’anak gives witness that One would come carrying reign, authority, righteousness, and rule.
This matters because Yahusha is not introduced as a separate authority. He is revealed as the One through whom Yahuah’s authority is made visible.
The Prophets Bear Witness
“I was looking in the night visions and saw, One like the Son of Adam, coming with the clouds of the heavens. And He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him.
And to Him was given rule and esteem and a reign, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His rule is an everlasting rule which shall not pass away, and His reign is one which shall not be destroyed.”
“See, the days are coming,” declares Yahuah, “when I shall raise for Dawid a Branch of righteousness. And a Sovereign shall reign and act wisely, and shall do right-ruling and righteousness in the earth.
In His days Yahudah shall be saved, and Yashar’al dwell safely. And this is His Name whereby He shall be called: Yahuah our Righteousness.”
“But you, Beyth Lehem Ephrathah, you who are little among the clans of Yahudah, out of you shall come forth to Me the One to become Ruler in Yashar’al. And His comings forth are from of old, from everlasting.”
He Reveals Yahuah’s Reign
Yahusha does not come carrying self-made authority.
He reveals the reign Yahuah already declared.
- Daniy’al shows the coming One receiving rule, esteem, and reign.
- Yirmeyahu shows the righteous Branch reigning with right-ruling.
- Miykah shows the Ruler coming forth from old, from everlasting.
- Yahusha reveals this authority in visible form.
The Authority Was Foretold
The prophets do not present a powerless servant disconnected from Yahuah’s rule.
They show One who comes with reign, judgment, righteousness, deliverance, and everlasting authority.
But this authority does not create another throne against Yahuah.
It reveals Yahuah’s own government through the One He brings forth.
The Coming One Does Not Divide the Throne
Daniy’al shows the One like the Son of Adam receiving reign.
Yirmeyahu says the Branch will be called “Yahuah our Righteousness.”
Miykah says His goings forth are from old, from everlasting.
Together, these witnesses do not create confusion. They establish a pattern: Yahuah’s rule would be revealed through the One who comes.
If the Coming One Carries Authority
- You cannot read Yahusha apart from what the prophets established.
- You cannot separate His reign from Yahuah’s reign.
- You cannot treat His authority as independent from the One who gives it.
- You must allow the Ta’anak to define the authority He carries.
Questions for the Heart
- Do I recognize Yahusha through the witness of the prophets?
- Have I separated His authority from Yahuah’s authority?
- Do I understand reign as function under one source?
- Am I willing to let the Ta’anak shape how I receive Yahusha?
Let Me Recognize Your Authority
Ahba Yahuah,
Let the witness of the prophets correct my understanding.
Teach me to recognize Your authority when You reveal it through Yahusha.
Do not let me divide Your reign. Do not let me separate Your throne from the One You brought forth.
Let me see that Yahusha does not come as another source, but as Your authority made visible.
Align my heart to Your order, Your reign, and Your righteousness.
Today’s Walk
Today, when you read about authority, reign, rule, or throne, pause and ask:
Then ask:
Do not divide the reign. Recognize the authority being revealed.
