Truth Scriptures
Luqah (Luke) 6:27–36
“I say to you that are willing to listen: Attempt to show love to your enemies. Pray for them to change if they have shown hatred toward you.”
“Extend favor to those who attempt to curse you. Pray for those who mistreat you to change.”
“If someone attempts to strike you on one cheek, confidently face them with the other. Do your best to turn and remove yourself from the situation.”
“Always try to give to those who ask you for something. If someone borrows from you, do not demand them to return it. Let their own conscience guide them.”
“Treat people the same way you want people to treat you.”
“If you only love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don’t sinners do the same thing?”
“Attempt to show love to your enemies, do good, and lend without needing to be paid back. Your reward shall be great, and you shall be children of the Most High.”
“Aluah has shown kindness before to the unthankful and evil people, hoping they would repent.”
“Be compassionate just as your Father is compassionate.”
Yahusha teaches those who hear Him to love their enemies, do good to those who hate them, extend favor to those who curse them, and palal for those who mistreat them.
His instruction defines love not by feeling, but by action. The standard is not fairness or reciprocity, but likeness to the Father, who is compassionate regardless of response.
Reflect
In Hebrew thought, love is covenant action, not emotional agreement. Yahusha is not teaching feelings — He is establishing order in how we respond.
Key Hebrew thought insights:
- Love is expressed through action, not emotion
- Doing good restores order instead of mirroring harm
- Extending favor keeps your response aligned, not reactive
- Palal releases control and returns judgment to Yahuah
- Refusing retaliation protects your inner alignment
- Righteousness is not fairness — it is right order
- Compassion reflects the Father’s character, not others’ behavior
Yahusha teaches that love is not dependent on how others act. It is rooted in who you are aligned to.
Questions to Consider
- Who do I find difficult to love in action?
- Where have I justified distance as wisdom?
- Am I protecting my heart — or my ego?
- Do I respond based on others, or from alignment with the Father?
Palal
Yahuah, teach me to love as You love — not by feeling, but through obedience. Remove the places where I excuse distance instead of choosing alignment.
Guard my heart from bitterness, my mouth from reaction, and my steps from retaliation. Let my compassion reflect Your character, even when it costs me comfort.
Ahlaluyah.
Practice
Today, choose one act of love where it costs you something — through restraint, kindness, or mercy.
Choose alignment over reaction. Let one obedient act reflect the Father’s character.
Day 10 Closing Thought
Loving without condition is not weakness — it is authority under control, aligned with the Father.
Phase 1 Complete
You have completed the foundation of walking as Yahusha walked — learning to live from dependence, alignment, obedience, and love.
Do not rush forward. Let what has been established take root. What is formed in you will now be tested, strengthened, and lived out.
